I'm staying in Spain till mid-July!

I'm staying in Spain till the running of the bulls in San Fermin! I'm staying till July! Ah!

Madrid 9/4/08 - 12/16/08
Washington DC 12/16/08 - 1/13/09
Madrid 1/14/09-7/13/09

Holy shit.
3 1/2 months - not scary.
6 months - a little bit.

I hope this isn't a bad choice! I finish school 5/11 but figure I could do some summer living here...I just really hope I'm not aimlessly meandering around in May and June wanting to be home. Note: must save money.

are there going to be new people going for the 6 months you are going? if so perhaps there will be some more down to earth people there? but either way when I think about it, spring/summer time is when you'll get wayyy more tourists coming in which means cool different people from more countries? :)

Yes there will be new people. Thank god.
I am definitely going to end this semester like ummm*hug* Bye. See you in a year. And then forget about certain people as soon as I don't see them anymore. I guess I just thought being in such a small program everyone would grow on me and we would leave one big happy family. Wrong.
Next semester looks like it will have some GW bitches/spoiled sons but I know at least one person who is cool and I could hang out with. And she knows a guy in the program who is cool and that we should hang out with. So that is good news. Also, since next semester will be around 20 students, we will naturally break off into our groups rather than feeling forced to hang out with people just because they are 1 of the 7 whenever the group goes out. Because really, it would just be rude to invite 4 out of 6 of the other students out, so there's this mentality sometimes of "what are WE doing".
